HWOO Deploys 2.088 MWh Smart Energy Storage System to Power Greener Manufacturing in Zhejiang Province, China

2025-08-07 13:50

A 2.088 MWh commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project provided by HWOO has been successfully deployed at a high-energy-consuming manufacturing facility in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. This project aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce electricity costs, and accelerate the green transformation of industrial operations.

The solution includes 8 sets of 261 kWh energy storage cabinets, delivering a total power output of 1 MW. Built on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, the system supports typical user-side applications such as off-peak energy storage and peak shaving. It offers multiple grid-supporting functionalities—peak shaving, power support, and capacity backup—and complies with China’s 2024 national standards for new energy storage (GB).

Key advantages of the HWOO energy storage system include:

IP67-rated battery pack design, resilient to industrial environments

Pack-level active fire suppression system for enhanced safety

BMS with active balancing, ensuring better cell consistency and longer life

Dual cooling with air and liquid channels, maintaining cell temperature difference within 3°C

Real-time cloud monitoring and intelligent O&M for visualized, efficient management

In high-energy-use industries like manufacturing, energy storage systems help mitigate peak-hour electricity costs, improve grid stability, and support low-carbon operations. This project provides a practical reference for industrial users looking to upgrade their energy usage and align with carbon reduction goals.

HWOO remains committed to advancing C&I storage solutions and empowering more businesses with sustainable energy strategies.
